Support the workers
Boris Johnson has already got rid of 500 Fire fighters this year, shut 10 Fire stations and got rid of 18 fire engines to apparently save £50m. Now he wants to put 1000 London Underground workers on the dole too. Why? So he can spend even more money on a cycle hire scheme that had already cost £270million!!!! As well as that every hiring actually costs the London taxpayer £5. Before you all start slagging the people on strike off just realise that they're fighting to keep their jobs. If Boris gets his way we'll have no staff in ticket offices, driverless trains, robots doing maintenance, drones putting out fires, and worse of all, driverless cabs powered by google! Imagine life without the London cabby!
Don't let the press convince you you're something you're not. Whether you wear a suit, a donkey jacket, overalls or a pair of jeans to work, the fact is you work and are not middle or upper class, you're working class. So give the underground workers a bit of support, because all Boris and his business buddies are interested in is the pound in their pocket. If we don't fight to keep jobs now then in 10 years time we won't need trains, because no one will have a job! Solidarity brothers
